Mike Knox resorts to scare tactics

Houston City Councilman Mike Knox is in a tough race for re-election. His opponent, Raj Salhotra, is young, energetic, very knowledgeable about the job he is running for, and can raise money, lots of money.

Knox isn't as young and he can't raise money so he has resorted to what republicans do best. Lie and label his opponent as a socialist. It just gets old. From Jasper Scherer, Houston Chronicle reporter:

Knox couldn't help throwing in Congressman Beto O'Rourke's name in his insult. Unfortunately for Knox, Beto is pretty popular in Houston and Texas and it might bite him in the ass in Dec. Maybe Knox will ask Trump to come campaign for him. Ask Kentucky Governor Bevin how that worked out for him.

Election Day is Dec 14.
