Giving thanks to the GOP

Every year there is a lot to be thankful for even in such harsh economic times. But this year I think we all should give thanks to the republican party. Let's give thanks:
  • For the squandering of the $250 billion surplus.
  • For the $450 billion deficit.
  • For the $9.6 trillion debt.
  • For the attacks on 9/11.
  • For the 4000+ lives lost in attacking the wrong country.
  • For the 27,000 wounded soldiers
  • For the sinking economy.
  • For the lame duck president.
  • For the rise in unemployment.
  • For the 3000 point loss in the stock market.
  • For the highest rates of insurance in the nation.
  • For the deregulation of electricity resulting in rates doubling.
  • For the deregulation of college tuition resulting in a 150% increase.
Let's thank the republican party for reminding us that they can't protect our wallets, our country, or our government. Goggle. Google.

You're blaming the Republicans for Bush being a lame duck? That's a bit silly, since every president is a lame duck for two and a half months or so.

You are right, however, in noting that the GOP wasn't able to protect the government. Obama won, after all.

I agree. You should have said "For the lame duck president who is acting like a dead duck".

Can he be any more irrelevant?

The other points are right on. Obviously these valid points are not being questioned by anonymous.

And they shouldn't be.

No, it's just that I scarcely know what to say to a guy who thinks "Goggle. Google." is commentary.

OOPs! I thought I had made a funny without knowing it!

Thanks for Matt the spelling bee champ for catching this!

It should have been Gobble Gobble.

Have a great one everyone and don't forget to thank a republican by kicking him in the what nots.

Yeah! Political opponents should be subject to physical attack!

And while you are at it, be thankful that there has not, since 9/11, been a successful terrorist attack by Islamists on American soil.

Yea. "not since 9/11" says it all. It is a simple excuse for the worst screw up in the US history.

Where the hell was the GOP on 9/11?

Bush was just ending a 5 week vacation. Lazy bastard.
